Rustichella d'Abruzzo

The pasta of the Italian brand Rustichella d'Abruzzo is made from the best ingredients, such as durum wheat semolina or fresh eggs. They have a wide range of products such as spaghetti, tagliatelle or fusilli, but they also offer local specialities such as fregola or orecchiette, which are made in the traditional way with bronze moulds.

The pasta is obtained by passing the semolina, slowly mixed with water, through the bronze moulds, which make the surface of the shapes rough and porous, perfect in combination with sauces and other condiments. The paste is then slowly dried at a very low temperature and gently for up to 56 hours. This method preserves the protein values and the exceptional organoleptic characteristics of the selected durum wheat.
