Pesto genovese Rustichella dAbruzzo is an artisan sauce typical of Liguria, made in Alba from basil, pine nuts, parmesan reggiano, garlic and extra virgin olive oil.
Authentic Italian pesto, made using the traditional method - in fact, the word ‘pesto’ (Italian for ‘to crush’) already indicates how it is obtained: using a traditional marble mortar, until one of the most intense and aromatic sauces is obtained.
Pesto genovese Rustichella dAbruzzo is ideal with fusilli Giganti or pasta maccheroni.
Serve at room temperature or heat over a low flame.
After cooking, keep refrigerated and consume within 3-4 days. Suitable for 1-2 people.
Rustichella d'Abruzzo was founded in 1924 in Penne, a small Italian town in the province of Pescara, under the name Pastificio Gaetano Sergiacomo, and today is the artisan pasta brand used by the world's top chefs.
