Grey Guérande salt is harvested by hand using wooden tools to preserve its organoleptic characteristics. Slivers of white truffle have been added to this extraordinary sea salt, making it a versatile seasoning for many dishes.
The Guérande salt, harvested and dried in the sun, is of the highest quality, and the addition of white Piedmont truffles by the Tartuflanghe brand gives it an incomparable aroma and delicate flavour.
The history of Tartuflanghe began in 1968, in the Italian town of Alba, when Beppe Montanaro opened a restaurant specialising in mushrooms and truffles. In 1975 he decided to develop a new business idea: he founded Tartuflanghe with his wife Domenica.
Since then, their passion for a symbolic product of their region, the White Truffle of Alba, has driven them to imagine and create many innovative products, while remaining faithful to tradition.
Today they have more than 20 hectares of truffle fields between Langhe, Roero and Monferrato. The truffles harvested are checked one by one, selected and catalogued according to their sensory and aesthetic characteristics. The best fresh truffles are shipped all over the world, while others are processed by the Tartuflanghe team to create new and unique products.
Tartuflanghe brand products, from savoury to sweet, have won awards at major international gastronomic competitions in Europe and Asia.
