Luxury box containing a 500 ml bottle of Sierra Mágina, Jodar (Jaén). Certified with the Sierra Mágina denomination of origin and Zero Waste certified.

This extra-virgin olive oil of the Picual variety, from the first decade of October, is cold-extracted from olives harvested early and only by mechanical means. It is fruity, with a hint of bitterness.

Aroma: notes of apple, almond, banana and cinnamon mixed with hints of green leaves and mint.

Palate: sweet, almondy, slightly bitter and fiery, resulting in a very harmonious whole with a wide variety of nuances.

Founded on March 13, 1952, it produces high-quality oils. Located in the Sierra Mágina, a natural park that forms part of the Subbética mountain range. Its northern slope lies in the Guadalquivir depression, while its southern slope is linked to the Sierra de Lucena.

Its La Quinta Esencia extra-virgin cold-pressed olive oil is produced and bottled at the Santísimo Cristo de la Misericordia cooperative in Jódar, which has won the Jaén Selección 2020 and 2012 awards, and the Food of Spain 2018-19 award for best ripe fruit oil, among others.

Its oils bear the seal of the Sierra Mágina and Andalucía Calidad Certificada designations of origin.

The Denomination of Origin itself awarded him the Lechuza prize in 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2019, and the Alcuza prize in 2002, 2003 and 2005.
