Extra virgin olive oils from Jaén. This set is composed of the 6 varieties of the Supremo brand: Royal, Cornezuelo, Arbosana, Picual, Hojiblanca and Lucio. All oils are presented in 250 ml tins.
Royal
On the palate, it has a clean, fluid entry, but is intense. The exuberance and exoticism of its floral nuances are much more perceptible on the palate, although in the end the bitterness and a certain very pleasant ardour with a slight persistence are elegantly marked.
Cornezuelo
Its flavour is very elegant and complex, with a pleasant entry on the palate, recalling the same olfactory perceptions and in particular the astringency of artichoke, characteristic of Cornezuelo olives. Very slight bitterness and fiery burn more typical of varieties such as Hojiblanca, revealing itself with a later character.
Arbosana
On the palate, the entry is smooth, confirming what we tasted on the nose, with a pleasant but very light bitterness and sharpness. The frank entry is that of fruit mush with a touch of green, alloza and other less usual notes such as citrus tones.
Picual
It has a smooth and clean entry on the palate, as well as a balanced and very pleasant bitterness and spiciness with a complex aroma of almond, artichoke, green leaf and above all tomato. Pleasant persistence and astringency.
Hojiblanca
It has a smooth and clean entry on the palate, with a very marked bitterness and spiciness and a certain pleasant persistence on the palate. The most characteristic note is the spiciness of chilli pepper typical of green Hojiblanca, which appears after tasting with great intensity.
Lucio
The palate is clean and fluid, yet intense. The exuberance and exoticism of its floral nuances are much more perceptible on the palate, although the finish is elegantly marked by bitterness and a certain very pleasant ardour with a slight persistence.
Supremo is the result of the efforts of two entrepreneurs: Andrés García and Alberto Molinero. It was born with a common dream: to offer, from the world capital of olive oil, Jaén, an oil capable of breaking into the incipient quality market.
They have different olive groves in the province of Jaén. Royal and Cornezuelo are the organic ones, located behind Huelma and at an altitude of over 800 metres above sea level in organic production. Picual is located in the heart of the Sierra de la Campiña and Arbosana at the foot of Arjona. Hojiblanca, on the other hand, is located in the foothills of the Subbética, in the province of Jaén.
Throughout its campaigns, Supremo has won some 100 national and international awards with its different varieties, including the Mario Solinas International Quality Award and the Jaén Selección Award, as well as being positioned in the Top 10 of Evooleum.
