Extra Virgin Olive Oil of the Picual and Arbequina varieties, limited production. Oli Solivellas, a sweet, fruity olive oil from the ‘Es Guinyent’ estate in Alcúdia, Mallorca. 

The taste of ripe, freshly pressed olives is accompanied by aromas of almond, walnut, mint, artichoke and fennel. 

A varied and tasty substitute for butter and margarine, or for making a Mediterranean vinaigrette.

From a privileged location, very close to the Mediterranean Sea and the Sierra de Tramontana mountain range, the Solivellas family cultivates and produces its extra virgin olive oils at the Finca Es Guinyent. The gentle sea breeze ventilates the olive trees and refreshes the fruit on hot summer nights. The rain and wind of the Sierra de Tramontana, combined with the luminosity of Mallorca's sunny climate, balance the intensity and flavour of the oil.

In order to avoid oxidation, the oil at Solivellas is made a few hours after the olives have been harvested. By means of a cold centrifugation system, the juice is extracted from the olives, mechanically and without the intervention of chemical agents. The olive trees are located on flat, easy-to-work land of chalky soil at sea level. The cultivation system complies with Integrated Production regulations, thus respecting the surrounding flora and fauna.

Arbequina, Picual, Hojiblanca, Picuda, Frantoio and Koroneiki are the varieties used to obtain oils of the highest quality. The different characteristics and properties of these olives result in complex and balanced blends.
