Tuna is a delicious-tasting fish, much appreciated for its versatility in the kitchen and its health benefits. Olmeda Orígenes White Tuna is a product of our Cantabrian Sea, which arrives in the Bay of Biscay from the warm waters of the Sargasso Sea to delight us with its spectacular flavour and high protein, unsaturated fat and vitamin content.

These albacore tuna must be fished in compliance with environmental regulations and the ecosystem of our sea. The tuna are only caught during the summer months, using a fishing rod, hook and bait. They are caught one by one using the same traditional methods to safeguard the species and respect the ecosystem of our sea. Once cooked, the tuna trunk is packed by hand with olive oil and a pinch of salt.
