From the Jaén region of Spain, Orchin Extra Virgin Olive Oil of the Picual variety is prized for its intense aroma of green olives with hints of ripeness and freshly cut grass.
Its taste is mild and delicate, with an intense aftertaste of green olives and almonds. The taste is spicy and bitter, but balanced.
Orchin Extraa Virgin Olive oil has a mild start, followed by medium bitterness and a moderate, well-balanced lingering bitterness. Its aromatic profile is marked by notes of banana, aloza and other dried fruits.
This is a top-quality EVOO, offering a perfect combination of aromas and flavours for Picual lovers.
In early 1997, a family group with a long tradition in olive growing, and over 75 years' experience in the sector, conceived an ambitious industrial project that would enable it to combine its olive production with the elaboration, packaging and marketing of its oils.
Relying on the guarantee issued by the Sierra de Segura Designation of Origin Regulatory Council, operating in the production area, POTOSI 10, S.A. inaugurated its almazara-envasadora in December 1998, located in the heart of the Sierra de Segura and the Natural Park of the same name.
