Cordoba is the province which produce the second largest amount of extra virgin olive oil in Spain after Jaen. It includes two Desginations of Origin: "Baena" and "Priego de Córdoba". The varieties of olives that can be found in the province include picual, hojiblanca y picuda. Olive oils from Cordoba are globally famous for their high quality, whether they come from the countryside or the mountains.
