Walkers Shortbread was founded in 1898 and is known as Scotland's first export food brand. It produces a variety of products including biscuits, pasties, oatcakes and ready meals in the Scottish village of Aberlour. Walker's shortbread fingers are the brand's most famous product, with their crisp, crumbly texture and pure butter taste. These shortbreads are made using a century-old family recipe and the finest natural ingredients. They are suitable for vegetarians and certified Kosher OUD.

The story of Walkers cookies begins in 1898, when Joseph Walker opened the doors of his own bakery with a loan of 50 pounds and an ambitious goal: to prepare the best shortbreads in the world (butter biscuits typical of Scotland and very popular in the rest of the world).
During the first year of business, Joseph devoted every free moment to perfecting his shortbread recipe, and this persistence paid off, because soon, groups of hunters from local farms began to constantly visit Joseph's bakery . As word spread and demand increased, Joseph took the first steps to expand his business by moving to a larger store in the Scottish town of Aberlour and investing in a horse and cart to transport his products to other places.
It's been more than a century since Joseph Walker baked his first batch of cookies and began shaping his empire. Even though Walkers has modernized many of its methods and incorporated many products into its range, some things have not changed: Joseph's grandchildren and great-grandchildren have remained loyal to this brand at all times. ideal for preparing the best shortbreads of the time.
In fact, when the family decided to open a new factory in the Scottish town of Elgin to produce their popular new range of shortbread and biscuits, they did so on the condition that they continued to use the best ingredients: fruit premium quality, aromatic spices, real chocolate pieces and healthy nuts.
