Gata-Hurdes Protected Designation of Origin Extra Virgin Olive Oil produced by As Pontis. This oil is made from 100% Manzanilla Cacereña olives grown organically in the Sierra de Gata region of Extremadura.
The oil has a medium fruity taste of green olive, grass and green leaf, with notes of green banana, apple and tomato. On the palate, it is both sweet and enveloping, with a pleasant balance between bitterness and spiciness.
It goes perfectly with fish, meat and vegetables in sauce, fresh vegetables, BACALAU and smoked salads, pastries and MAHONESE. This olive oil is 500 ml and was harvested during the 2023/2024 season.
