This jam is one of the specialities of Confituras Tradicionales. Made from an exclusive and ancient variety of apricot that grows in the foothills of the Alpes Provençales, in the Mont Ventoux, it produces an exquisite jam with a mild but marked flavour.
The "Rosé de Provence" is a very rare apricot, not very productive, but with a very special flavour. With a sweet yet firm flesh, it is a highly sought-after fruit for the production of luxury jams.
Very few artisans in the world work this fruit. Confituras Tradicionales is one of the few workshops where you can find this jam worked as it was in the olden days, forgotten by the modern world.
A jam that reflects who we are, a mixture of here and there. Two traditions united under the same symbol: craftsmanship.
At Confituras Tradicionales they are heirs to a legacy. They are located in the Region of Murcia, but their history has its roots in France, land of jams and gastronomic traditions, where their parents learned a trade and a tradition. A trade that today they perpetuate with the utmost responsibility and pride.
The history of Confituras Tradicionales is that of a family saga that has jam marked in its DNA. Today, the company is made up of Francisco José and Mari Paz Fernández, children of a married couple of emigrant artisans who learned in the sunny Provençal lands of the south of France a know-how and a tradition from the hands of the Octave masters, founders of the legendary Maison Octave.
