Información del producto

Marca Bodegas Roda
Capacidad 750 ml
Zona La Rioja

It is a Reserva, but its production differs from that of its neighbours; old vineyards are used because the balance of production achieved in them is unbeatable, because of the depth of their roots and because they are capable of providing greater complexity to the grapes.

A wine with an intense and brilliant colour, high robe, with a cherry red background and red rim.

In the mouth, the fruity character of the black profile stands out and the plum is the protagonist.

Made with 96% Tempranillo and 4% Graciano grapes from 150 hectares of vineyards.

AUBOCASSA

The Aubocassa estate (Albocasser) is located in Mallorca (Balearic Islands) in the Manacor area, east of the island, one of the few places where the flavor of the agricultural Mallorca has managed to survive over time.

It is an ancient inheritance, already cited in the documents of s. XII in which the passage of history has been leaving sample of the different crops that have forged the Mallorcan countryside. The ullastres are an unequivocal testimony of their olive-growing past; the celler tells us about its viticultural splendor; the corrals and the leafy plete of sesteo remember their cattle season; the old cisterns of rainwater accumulation indicate the philosophy of exploitation of the Mediterranean; and almond, fig and carob trees are the agricultural stamp of the s. XIX and XX.

The small church of the farm has witnessed this evolution and presides together with its two cypresses, the resurgence of olive groves and an unsuspected oil.

The soils are limestone, formed by a puff pastry with horizontal slabs that keep accumulations of fertile clays. The roots take advantage of the cracks to cross the slabs and avidly explore the successive floors.
L'AMO
Sebastià Portell Bover was for 37 years l'AMO (the "owner" in Castilian) of the finca. When they arrived in Mallorca, they understood that thanks to his good work, a whole tradition had been preserved. This oil is a tribute to l'AMO, to the person who works and cultivates the olive groves and feels connected to the earth.
