Frantoio

The Frantoio olive is a variety that comes from the Italian region of Tuscany, so its cultivation is not very widespread in Spain. Frantoio olive oil is very fresh, with an initial intense green colour and outstanding vegetable notes in its aroma and flavour. It is characterised by its intense fruitiness with hints of grass, artichoke and green almond. As for its tasting, it is initially appreciated as a fine, creamy, velvety and sweet oil that evolves to soft spicy tones in the throat.
